Iesha Berry

SVP, Human Resource Executive and Head of Diversity & Inclusion for Wealth Management

Iesha C.A. Berry serves as a member of the Wealth Management Human Resources Leadership Team and directly oversees Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) for Wealth Management as well as partners with the Retirement and Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) and Wealth Management Business Controls, Governance and Operational Excellence (WM-BCG OPEX) teams as the HR Executive. In this new role Iesha partners with the Wealth Management leadership team to enable and accelerate D&I progress and works directly with Lorna Sabbia, Helen Eggers and their leadership teams as the HR Generalist.

Most recently Iesha served as the Head of Global Diversity & Inclusion Business Management and Client Engagement at Microsoft. Prior to Microsoft, she was the Vice President and D&I Practice Leader at Prudential Financial. Before joining Prudential Financial and earlier in her career, Iesha worked for Bank of America as a Human Resources Executive and Diversity & Inclusion Executive. Additionally, she led D&I initiatives at Pfizer and the New York Academy of Sciences.

Iesha earned an M.A. in HR/Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, a B.A. in Psychology from Tougaloo College in Mississippi, and also received a Diversity Practitioner/Advanced Practitioner certification from Cornell University. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and serves as the Vice President of Collegiate Ambassadors for the Charlotte, NC Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources. Iesha is a former Advisory Board Member of the International Network for the Professional Development of Women and previously served as a member of the Conference Board Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Council along with serving on the Councils’ Executive Board. In 2017, she co-authored a book titled We Walk by Faith and Not by Sight: Women of Faith in the Marketplace and is working on her second book to be co-authored with her mother Antoinique D. Bowman.

Iesha is a wife and mother of three girls, Hannah (2), Gabrielle (10) and Chloe’ (15). She and her husband Leroy reside in Charlotte, NC.
