Michael Warner

Partner & Chief Relationship Officer
Egami Group

Mike Warner has had an illustrious and exciting career that, over the last two decades, has spanned music, entertainment, marketing, fashion, business development and tourism. Integrity and authenticity are the two qualities that he values the most, and these qualities are woven throughout every facet of his career, enabling Mike to collaborate with some of the world’s best known artists and brands.

Mike began his career as a musician/songwriter/music producer working on projects such as demo recordings for Hip Hop icons Jay Z and Nas, and remixes and production for Hip Hop legends such as Eric B & Rakim and Big Daddy Kane. His musical prowess and reputation enabled him to work with international artists including, producing and writing for Hikaru Utada, the biggest selling Japanese artist to date.

Mike’s work with M. Warner Enterprises extended his expertise and talents well beyond musical creativity as he fine-tuned and developed his marketing strategy and new business expertise. These invaluable skills allowed him to close artist deals with labels such as Bad Boy and Atlantic Records as well as an international publishing deal with Sony.

As a Partner and Chief Relationship Officer of Egami Group, Mike merged his creative experience and business acumen at M. Warner Enterprises, with the work that Teneshia Jackson, now Teneshia Warner, was conducting with Egami.

Egami is now an award-winning multicultural marketing firm and as Chief Relationship Officer and COO, Mike connects brands to urban and multicultural consumers. Egami enables brands to “INSPIRE”, “CONNECT” and “ACTIVATE” consumers through innovative, invigorated and engaging best in class marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, custom community programs, public relations and/or new product launches.

Together with Teneshia, Mike has led the firm from a dream concept to a thriving multi-million dollar business. Under this leadership, Egami has delivered award-winning marketing solutions for the world’s top brands including Hennessy, Heineken, Dasani, Verizon Wireless, Major League Baseball, Target, The US Army, P&G’s My Black is Beautiful, Gain, Bounty, Pfizer and more.

Mike also co-founded an innovative product development company called IconMod that creates brand extensions into fashion for celebrities. The company launched its first fashion line with Tamar Braxton in December of 2014 called Tamar Collection followed by a second line with Zendaya called Daya by Zendaya in 2016 both launching with rave reviews.

In addition to his work with Egami Group, Mike’s stellar reputation led to his selection as the Tourism Ambassador to Antigua & Barbuda with the remit of supporting tourism growth by leveraging his industry relationships and expertise in marketing and public relations. In 2014, Mike was also named the Vice Chairman of Hispanicize, the largest annual event for Latino trendsetter and newsmakers in social media, journalism, advertising, PR, film, and innovation.

Additionally, Mike continues to work in the music industry supporting talent by integrating their brands and music into TV including placing Grammy Award Winner Estelle and her song “Conqueror” in the hit Fox TV show “Empire” where her song remains the top seller of the shows history. This success has lead to M. Warner Enterprises becoming one of the industry’s premiere music licensing companies in partnership with Music of the Sea which has been a dominant player in the music licensing arena for the past decade.

Mike has a prominent legacy in education in Antigua, where his grandfather, Charles “School Daddy” Henry, served for many decades as a teacher and headmaster and many members of his family are still leaders in education in Antigua over a half-century later. Mike was also a music teacher while still in high school. Mike was born in New York City where he studied Electrical Engineering at Polytechnic University and Business Marketing at Baruch College. He currently lives in New Jersey with his wife and has 2 children.
